The categories that use the most electricity are air conditioning, water heating, secondary refrigeration, lighting and home-entertainment equipment. Did you know that vision can affect how a child performs in school? According to Dr. Christopher Tortora, medical director of the Hawaii Eye Center, over 80 percent of classroom learning is visual; reading the blackboard, a book, or a computer screen, etc. When vision problems go undiagnosed, children can appear to have learning disabilities or even behavioral problems.

Children should have their vision checked regularly. If problems area detected, a comprehensive eye exam will be needed. Diagnosing vision problems early will allow children to develop to their full potential. Call 733-2020 to schedule a consultation.
