In this drama written by Aldyth Morris, Dann Seki acts out the life of Saint Damien and his 'calling' from God. Father Damien, now Saint Damien, was born in Belgium in 1840 and came to Hawai'i in 1864. He was ordained at Our Lady of Peace Cathedral and in 1873 chose to serve the needs of people with Hansen's disease who had been forcibly relocated to an isolated peninsula on the island of Moloka'i.
